Jose Mourinho hints at squad changes for Bayern Munich match: Press-conference
Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho says he could include some players that don’t have regular playing time in the starting lineup for Bayern Munich match.
Spurs have guaranteed their play-off place after beating Olympiacos at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham won’t have a chance to finish first in their group, however, North London side would love to take revenge from Bundesliga champions for the home defeat earlier in the last month.
“It’s an important game because we represent Tottenham. Tottenham is Tottenham. It always gives us a sense of responsibility. We cannot finish first, we cannot have that privilege. The result is not going to change anything.” Mourinho told reporters during the press-conference (via Football London)
“One thing I’m not having is time, time to know all my players well, and this is also a great opportunity for some of them to play, to show what they are capable of. Some of my boys they haven’t had the chance to play for me in these five matches since I arrived. So we’ve tried to mix these factors.” Portuguese added.
Bayern Munich and Tottenham will meet at the Allianz Arena. Kick-off time at 21:00 (BST).
