Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed the key to his success over Liverpool as Chelsea manager. Mourinho faced the Reds with Chelsea 23 times and beat them in 11 games, drawing six and losing just six of the meetings. “I think the most important thing is if you are a better team than them and I remember in January 2005, we came here and won, we were the best team by far. The next year, we came here and beat Liverpool 4-1, we were by far the best team," he said on Sky Sports. “If you are the best team, you come to win and you’re confident of winning. You put in the players’ brains that you’re not just confident, that you are the best team, and the job is still difficult, it’s still a very difficult place to come." On playing at Anfield, Mourinho added: "People used to say the crowd doesn’t score goals but in my case, the crowd scored a goal when we lost the Champions League semi-final.
