Jose Mourinho has spoken out on Gareth Bale potentially playing against West Ham on Sunday. Spurs return to action after the international break with a game against West Ham on Sunday, October 18.
Before going to an international break, Jose Mourinho's side celebrated a 6-1 victory over Manchester United.
Speaking ahead of the clash against Hammers, Mourinho was asked whether Bale will play some part against the Hammers.
Bale joined Tottenham on a season-long loan deal and has been training with the squad this fortnight after recovering from a knee injury.
"The team is the most important thing, Gary….Gareth is here to help the team but at the same time we care about him, we care about the body," Mourinho said.
"The decisions we are going to make will be for the good of the team but also for his own good," he told Sky Sports News.
"It is very, very important he has a happy season with us and I think at this moment in his career that is very, very important."
