Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is an admirer of Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson, according to a report in
Manchester Evening News.
Henderson currently plays on loan for Sheffield United. His contract with the Red Devils expires in 2022.
The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are going to offer the 23-year-old a new contract. However, the player will decide to leave Old Trafford, looking for first-team action in another team amid the interest from a number of clubs, including Chelsea and Tottenham.
The keeper could become a vital addition to Frank Lampard's squad. Meanwhile, Mourinho is familiar with him from his coaching time at United. And it wouldn't be surprising to see the Portuguese interest in bringing the Englishman to North London.
However, Henderson's future is up in the air, with the player still spending his loan spell with Chris Wilder's side.
