Jose Mourinho aims dig at Pep Guardiola after Liverpool beat Tottenham

Jose Mourinho took aim at Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola after seeing his Tottenham side beaten by Liverpool at Anfield. Roberto Firmino's late header gave the reigning champions a dramatic 2-1 victory in their top-of-the-table clash with Spurs. Mourinho was riled by his opposite number's “animated” behaviour on the touchline during the match, and claimed he would have been sent to the stands if he had behaved in a similar manner, referencing Guardiola in his argument. Of his conversation with Klopp, Mourinho said: “I told him the best team lost. He disagreed. That's his opinion. "By the way, if I behaved the way on the touchline like he does, I have no chance to stay there - I'm out." Mourinho then dragged Guardiola into the row, referring to the Spaniard's actions during City's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night. Guardiola was unhappy with the decision to signal only four minutes of stoppage time at the end of the match and was seen in frenzied discussion with fourth official Anthony Taylor as the electronic board was about to go up. At one point Guardiola placed his hand on the board to briefly prevent Taylor from displaying how much added time was to be added. Mourinho said: "Do you want me to take the table with the time from the fourth official? "For some reason I am different. And that's that." Source- Manchester Evening News Join us on Telegram!
