Jorginho reveals what his Italy teammates told him about Romelu Lukaku

Jorginho has revealed that his Italy teammates lavished praise on Romelu Lukaku’s work ethic before the striker rejoined Chelsea this summer. The Belgian striker made record-breaking move to west London, and since then has scored four goals in four games. Speaking after Chelsea’s Champions League victory vs Zenit, Jorginho said Lukaku ‘deserved’ to make an impact due to his ‘mentality’ both on matchdays and on the training ground.

"They (Italy team-mates who played with Lukaku) said that he works a lot, he can help a lot, he tries to talk, he works hard," Jorginho explained.   "We are really happy that he is really helping everyone.   "That’s what everyone does here, we try to help each other — and he came with the right mentality, working and trying to help.   "So I’m really happy for him as well because he works so hard during training and deserves every goal. A big impact is well deserved."
