Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has opened up on how manager Jurgen Klopp reacted to their two worst performances.
The Reds enjoyed an excellent season and are now in the Champions League final alongside Tottenham Hotspur. In the Premier League they also had a good season losing to champions Manchester City with only one point.
However, Liverpool had also bad performances such as against Napoli and Red Star Belgrade with Jordan Henderson commenting on manager jurgen Klopp’s reaction.
"When people ask me what Jurgen Klopp is like in such circumstances, I think they expect me to say that he screams and shouts and he goes mad but that just isn’t the case," Henderson
told the Mail.
"He’d rather wait a day or two, watch the match again on video, then get his point across without too much emotion.
"To be fair, we knew ourselves that neither of those games were good enough and we had fallen way short of our standards. There was no intensity, no rhythm. It wasn’t good at all. Belgrade was a kick up the a***."
