Jordan Henderson makes Mo Salah claim ahead of Champions League final

Photo/Liverpool FC Jordan Henderson believes that Mohamed Salah has a point to prove ahead of Liverpool’s Champions League final against Tottenham Hotspur. Speaking in an interview quoted by the Daily Mirror, Henderson said: “Obviously that [last year’s final] was a massive disappointment to him. Everything he had done leading up to the final and then having to come off early. “Of course it will be a big motivation to him to go out and show what he can do in a Champions League final and – touch wood – he can do it in the whole game. I know he can’t wait to get out there again.” The Egypt international was injured in a challenge with Sergio Ramos in the first half of last year’s final against Real Madrid as Liverpool lost 3-1 to the Spanish giants.
