Manchester United are set for a huge summer overhaul. The Red Devils have secured their place in the next season’s Champions League after finishing third in the Premier League this term.
Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that he needs more depth in his squad. United are looking to spend this summer in a bid to add more quality options to their first-team squad.
But beside incomings, some players could be at serious risk of leaving the club. Alexis Sanchez, who is currently on loan at Inter Milan, looks se to make his stay at the club permanent.
Sanchez could be followed out of the exit door by several players.
Chris Smalling, who is on loan at AS Roma, could also stay in Italy on permanent bases. Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof have already booked their places in the squad and Smalling will not get a space.
Meanwhile, the arrival of Bruno Fernades has caused problems for Andreas Pereira. The midfielder has barely got a chance since Fernandes arrived. Pereira could well be set for an exit if the right offer comes in.
Another loan star Marcos Rojo could sign a permanent deal with Argentina side Estudiantes. While the deal is not agreed yet, he is one of United stars who is set for the exit.
Diogo Dalot has hardly played under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and as the Norwegian boss targeting more reinforcements at full-back, Dalot could find his way out of the club. The club could cash-in on him.
Phil Jones, who is now United’s longest-serving player, has barely featured this season and he might finally leave he club after nine years.
David de Gea is currently the number 1 at Old Trafford and Dean Henderson will add more competition, which will squeeze out Sergio Romero. Romero could leave the club and he would have no shortage of suitors.
Jesse Lingard, who finally scored in the final game of the Premier League season, could leave the club. With the possible arrivals of Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, his chances could be limited.
But besides permanent departures, one player could leave Old Trafford on a loan deal. James Garner, who has been compared to Michael Carrick, has been tipped to join Championship on loan.
