Joao Sousa: “Djokovic came back from a very tough place”

The World Number 22 Joao Sousa commented on Novak Djokovic’s return to the highest level in an interview by Sports TV Portugal. “Djokovic came back from a very tough place. Everyone, also the best guys, have these moments. I played with him at the US Open and in Paris and he did so well. He played two great matches,” said Sousa. “He deserved to end the year as number one. He is playing at a very high level like years ago and he is the best player in the world right now. He is above everybody the moment.”
