Joao Mario hoping for Premier League return with Spurs

The 25-year-old Portuguese international Joao Mario is hoping for a Premier League return as he eyes a loan switch to Tottenham. Inter Milan’s midfielder made 13 appearances on loan at West Ham last season, got two goals and an assist to help the Hmmers stay up after arriving in January from Italy. Mario enjoyed his stint in the Premier League and likes London and is hopeful of coming back. He has admirers after also playing for Portugal four times at the World Cup.
