Joao Cancelo claims his Manchester City teammate is "one of the best midfielders in the world"

Joao Cancelo has raved about Bernardo Silva, claiming Manchester City star is one of the best midfielders in the world. In a new interview with Manchester City's official website, the club defender has opened up on his relationship with his City teammate. "Bernardo (Silva) influences me every day, because every day I spot a new trait in him as a player,” Cancelo said. “For me, he (Silva) is a phenomenal player. Of course, I am partisan when talking about him because I am his friend, but if he is not the best midfielder in the world right now, he is definitely one of the best.” Cancelo has recently signed a new deal with City until 2027.
