West Ham United suffered a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday as Ruben Dias and John Stones scored for Pep Guardiola's side, meanwhile, Michail Antonio got his name on the scoresheet for West Ham after Jesse Lingard provided the assist.
Lingard has been having an impressive start to life at the Hammers since making his loan move from Manchester United in January. He has already made 5 appearances for the Hammers in which he has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists.
Following the Hammers defeat to City, Lingard took to Twitter and wrote: "We gave everything, felt like we deserved more but top team performance proud of the boys."
West Ham are currently 4th in the league table with 45 points.
