Jasper Gronkjaer thinks Donny van de Beek suited to Tottenham

Jasper Gronkjaer has told Goal that he believes Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek would be more suited to Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur- rather than Spanish giants Barcelona or Real Madrid. Van de Beek, 23, has been on fire for Ajax again this season. He has – scored 21 goals during his 37 league and cup appearances for Ajax.  Football London claim Tottenham have made enquiries. It is believed that Ajax rate van de Beek at a fee of £47million.  “I wouldn’t be surprised to see him at Real Madrid or Barcelona but I would rather see him at a club just below that,” Gronkjaer said. “For his style of play alone, clubs like Tottenham or Chelsea would be a better fit. “They are still top clubs and he is more like Frank Lampard, that kind of player. He is a big guy, box-to-box and takes good long shots, but he is not as technically gifted as other Ajax players. He is a player you can always get a certain level from.” Source: Goal Join us on Telegram!
