Tottenham star Jan Vertonghen has hinted that he will leave the club to find a new challenge in Spain or Italy this summer.
The centre-back joined Spurs from Ajax in 2012 and has made over 300 appearances for the north London club.
Vertonghen has not agreed to a new deal and he seems to be set on a move to the continent.
In his recent interview, the player revealed he has received several "serious proposals" since the Premier League was brought to a halt by the coronavirus pandemic.
"The lockdown has brought a lot of uncertainty to the transfer market and it has only had a positive effect on interest," Vertonghen told Play Sports in Belgium.
"I'm free and many clubs don't have the money to do transfers. Free players like me are even more coveted in the coronavirus crisis. Since January, a number of clubs have come forward with serious proposals."
