Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy has been praised by fans as he scored an excellent goal against Manchester City.
The 32-year-old already has 17 league goals this season, a comfortable six more than his closest challengers Tammy Abraham and Danny Ings.
In Saturday's clash against the Citizens Vardy scored his 17th goal athough his side lost the game with 3-1.
However, many fans took to social media to express their excitment over Vardy's strike:
“On current form Jamie Vardy is the best striker in the Premier League and you cannot convince me otherwise,”
“Everyone thinks Harry Kane is the best striker England have, but in fact it’s Jamie Vardy,”
“Jamie Vardy has to be one of the most under appreciated strikers in Premier League history,”
said a third.
“Incredible work ethic and is having arguably the best season of his career at age 32.”
“Jamie Vardy is a world-class striker,”
claimed another. “Crazy to think that he started the decade as a non-league striker and will end it as one of the best strikers in the world.”
