Jamie Carragher sends two-word defence of Steven Gerrard after Liverpool defeat

Jamie Carragher has defended Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard on social media following the club's defeat to Liverpool. Mohamed Salah's net from the penalty spot secured three points for the Reds on Saturday. After the match, Gerrard revealed that he was not happy with the refereeing at Anfield, claiming Villa should have had two penalties of their own. Some Liverpool fans were not happy with former Reds' star's comments, while Carragher took to Twitter to write "spot on" in response to one supporter defending Gerrard.
