Jamie Carragher makes "disgusting" claim after Jurgen Klopp comments on Super League

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has suggested on Monday Night Football, that it is ‘disgusting’ that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was not informed of the Reds decision to join the European Super League. Liverpool board announced their intentions to breakaway from UEFA and form a new competition on Sunday evening. Klopp revealed last night that he was against the idea of the new league and that he only found out of Liverpool’s desire to join at the same time as the rest of the public. Those comments came as a shock to Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, who weren’t convinced that the Liverpool boss would speak so strongly on the matter. “That is the big fear [Klopp leaving] with this situation,” Carragher said. “You don’t want Jurgen Klopp to go, but what I mean is that I hope he is still going to have really strong conversation with the ownership. He’s made his feelings known tonight. He has made his feelings known in an interview a couple of years ago. “There’s only so much he can say publicly and I think we are really pleased with what he said before the game, because I think he possibly said a lot more than what we felt before the game. “Hopefully that will be a message to every manager in the Premier League, especially the other managers at those five clubs. But I hope what he said to us he was saying in a lot stronger terms to the owners. “Because the fact that he said he only found out about this at the same time it came out is absolutely disgusting, disgraceful. I hope Jurgen Klopp along with the other six mangers really put these owners in their place.” Source- HITC Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
