Jamie Carragher believes one Liverpool man will be better this season

Jamie Carragher believes that Liverpool's Sadio Mane will be better this season. The Senegal international, who has established himself as one of the key players of the Reds, scored just 16 goals in 48 appearances last term. The player himself admitted that it wasn't the best season of him. However, now Carragher is "convinced" that the attacker will return to his impressive form during the 2021/22 campagn. “I’m convinced we will see a different Sadio Mane this year [season] just for that fact [return of crowds]," former Liverpool player told The Anfield Wrap (07:54). “I thought Sadio Mane’s performance in the last game of the [2020-21 Premier League] season [against Crystal Palace where some fans were allowed inside Anfield] was just night and day from what I saw all season. “It was just the crowd was back. He feeds off it. I’m convinced he will be back to his best. He has looked really sharp in pre-season.”
