Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane make PL title prediction after latest Man City and Liverpool games

Jamie Carragher contends that the race for the Premier League title has become highly competitive, especially with Manchester City experiencing a third consecutive match without a win, allowing Liverpool and Arsenal to surpass them in the standings.

In their recent fixture against Tottenham Hotspur, Pep Guardiola's team managed only a 3-3 draw, following draws with Chelsea and Liverpool. Consequently, the reigning champions now find themselves three points behind Arsenal and one point behind Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.

There were pre-season speculations about City's ability to maintain the motivation for another title-winning season after their previous treble triumph, and evident vulnerabilities are emerging in the team.

The draws against strong opponents like Chelsea, Liverpool, and now Tottenham have provided Arsenal and Liverpool with a chance to strengthen their ambitions for securing the top spot in the league.

Carragher expressed his thoughts on City's stalemate against Spurs, emphasizing the intensifying competition for the Premier League title in his commentary on Sky Sports.

"If you asked us all, I think we'd still fancy Manchester City for the title. We've seen this before with City, where they go on a run during the second half of the season and win 10 or 12 games on the bounce and go away from other teams. Maybe, this season, Arsenal will be stronger from their experience in those moments and we know Liverpool have been there before," he said, via Liverpool Echo.

In response to whether it's time for another team to claim the top spot from Manchester City, Roy Keane offered his perspective by stating:"Yeah, I do. I wouldn't bet against City but if you asked me two or three months ago, I would be City all day. Now I'm starting to be doubtful about them winning the title. There is a reason it hasn't been won four years in a row. I'm certainly looking at Arsenal and Liverpool."
