James Pearce provides update on Joe Gomez's Liverpool return

  The Athletic journalist James Pearce has provided an update on Joe Gomez. The Liverpool star missed most of the 2020/2021 season due to an injury. According to Pearce, Gomez is in contention to make his return against Athletic Bilbao on August 8. The Reds are currently participating in friendlies and before facing Bilbao, they will face Hertha Berlin on July 29.
