James Maddison to sign new Leicester City deal despite Manchester United interest

James Maddison is set to sign a new contract with his current team Leicester City although there were reports claiming he will join Manchester United.

The 22-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United after impressing for the Foxes, as Red Devils want to rebuild their squad.

However, as The Athletic reports, Maddison is expected to extend his contract dates and stay at King Power Stadium.

The England international has made 9 appearances for Leicester this season so far, scoring 3 goals and assisting twice.
