James Maddison has revealed his Arsenal-inspired moment amid transfer links

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Leicester City playmaker James Maddison. After missing out on permanent deal with Martin Odegaard and Emi Buendia transfer Gunners are looking for alternatives and reports recently emerged claiming Mikel Arteta is a huge admirer of the Englishman. And amid these reports, it seems that Maddison might really think about the move as he once suggested that his goal was inspired by Arsenal. Back in January his goal against Southampton, as he revealed was hugely inspired by former Gu7nners man Andrey Arshavin. “It was tough especially from the tight angle,” he said. “There’s one goal that sticks out, you might remember it, Arshavin scored it. When you’re from tight angles and near the byline, the only place you can score is the roof of the net because the keeper’s so big.” Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
