Jack Grealish has openly acknowledged that his Manchester City teammate Ederson stands out as the "craziest guy" he has ever encountered.
Despite a somewhat average beginning to the Premier League season, Manchester City continues to be recognized as one of the world's top teams.
Their recent triumph in the Club World Cup, marked by a 4-0 win against Fluminense, is attributed to a combination of Pep Guardiola's coaching brilliance, the financial backing from Saudi Arabian ownership, and the positive team dynamics.
Grealish, known for his vibrant personality, has shared that one of his fellow players at Manchester City is notably eccentric, adding to the team's lively atmosphere.
Speaking to Ben Foster for Amazon Prime (via Sportbible), the attacker said about City keeper Ederson: “He’s crazy you know? He’s a crazy geezer. But I think that helps him, the way he is."
He added: “Say he’s there and Kyle Walker is here, the manager is so big on pass appreciation. For you to pass it into someone’s path so they can go. And Ederson every time - he doesn’t give it to Kyle here so has to take a touch, stop and look. Every time it’s in his path and we’re just away.
"It’s frightening man, honestly. And he’s got one of the best penalty kicks I’ve ever seen as well."
