“It’s in his plans” – Manchester City coach Estiarte says Guardiola looking towards Italy move

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is likely to end up in Italy at some point, according to one of the members of the coaching staff, Manuel Estiarte. The City coach has long been linked with a move to Serie A, with reports last summer claiming that Juventus were keen on his signature. Estiarte, who is currently part of his team at the Etihad, Guardiola's plan has always been to tick off all four at some point. “Future in Italy? I can say that Pep loves Italy and has maintained friendships and affections,” he told Secolo XIX, relayed by Calciomercato.it. “And the Serie A is recovering from less splendid moments it has experienced in recent times. “The starting idea, when Guardiola started, was to train in the four big leagues: Spain, Germany, England and Italy. I don’t tell him what will happen, but why not? It’s in his plans.” Source: Sportswitness
