Spurs reached to the final eight of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night with an away win against Burnley, however, Harry Winks was the player whio did not travel with the squad.
But Winks featured in their Europa Conference League defeat against Vitesse and he spoke honestly after the game about how he has fallen from England call ups to the Spurs ‘B team’.
Speaking about the 25-year-old's future at Spurs and his comments following their latest European defeat, Eccleshare had the following to say.

“But after the Vitesse game, he spoke to us that were out there. And it was really quite moving. I mean, he just looked so upset as he tried to pick apart where it’s all gone wrong, really.
“And on that point of, are you going to move in January? Of course, he didn’t say, yeah, I’m up for a move. But it was pretty clear to him that he is someone who looks like he needs a change.”
