<span style="font-weight: 400;">Stamford Bridge chiefs are ready to pull the plug on the deal after the Spaniard’s representatives made an eleventh hour play for more money.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Chelsea were apparently prepared to pay £75m plus add-ons for Isco, who would earn more than £250,000-a-week. But club bosses balked at the proposed signing on fee and agents’ fees, which would have seen their outlay exceed £100m.</span>
