Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio was in London to work on transfer deal for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, according to Tuttosport.
He was at Wembley to see England's 7-0 victory over Montenegro.
Inter are keen on Tottenham pair Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen, but it is believed Inter's main focus is on striker Giroud, who the Blues are considering selling for as little as £6million.
Giroud has struggled under new boss Frank Lampard and has announced his contention to leave the Stamford Bridge.
Lyon have also been in touch with the France international.
