Inter Milan launch Romelu Lukaku transfer accusation at Manchester United

Inter Milan accused Manchester United of pricing Romelu Lukaku out of a move and Juventus moved into pole position for the Belgium international. The Belgian was left out of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad as they prepare for the pre-season friendly against Kristiansund. United want £80m for Lukaku, however, Inter have so far gone up to only £55m. Club CEO Beppe Moratta said: “We made an important bid to Manchester United for Lukaku but Man United ask for too much for Lukaku. We didn’t find an agreement so we are still working.”  “Today it is clear that the demands for the players are really high in some cases, like for Lukaku. We have made a fair and important offer respecting the value of the player. Nothing has ended, we will try to monitor again”.
