Fabinho is set to miss the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 14.
After playing for only 30 minutes, the Brazilian was forced to be sent off against Aston Villa on Tuesday (May 10) due to a hamstring strain.
According to Paul Joyce, The Times, the 28-year-old would not be fit for the FA cup, as he needs a two-week recovery.
However, the midfielder’s ‘focus’ is currently on the Champions League final against Real Madrid on May 28.
Fabinho was called from the Brazil National team for their next month’s fixtures and their fitness coach Fabio Mahseredjian believes the player ‘will make’ it to Paris for UCL final.
“We don’t have all the information yet, but we are optimistic that he will make the Champions League final.” claimed Mahseredjian via This Is Anfield.
