Injury crisis deepens at Tottenham

Tottenham are resigned to taking on the might of Barcelona on Wednesday without Jan Vertonghen. Centre-half was forced off with a hamstring problem at half-time during Saturday's win at Huddersfield, as was Mousa Dembele. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is already without Dele Alli, also injured. Christian Eriksen is a doubt, Hugo Lloris is unlikely to be fit and backup keeper Michel Vorm is out with a knee injury.
