“I’m personally bored of it now” – Jermaine Jenas star slams Tottenham duo Ndombele and Aurier

Jermaine Jenas has suggested there could be a discipline issue with Tottenham’s record signing, Tanguy Ndombele. The 23-year-old had only featured for 64 minutes since the resumption of the Premier League season in June. Jenas has been left far from impressed with Ndombele coming on in the latter stage of a game and showing flashes of his ability and suggested that his application in training is an issue. “He has every attribute in the book but there seems to be a discipline issue with him in regards to whether he’s working hard enough in training,” Jenas told Football.London. “Either way I stand by Jose on this and he’s obviously seen something in Tanguy Ndombele that he’s not happy with. He’s either not training hard enough or in games he’s doing things half-hearted. “Coming on for 10 minutes here and there, doing 15 stepovers and looking very nice on the eye, I’m personally bored of it now and I don’t know what Tottenham fans think. They might feel the same.” Jenas also slammed Spurs right-back, Serge Aurier who he believes is not fit to play at the level which Tottenham are aiming to achieve. “Serge Aurier has made too many mistakes, it’s as simple as that. He makes too many mistakes, defensively he’s a liability and going forward he’s hit and miss,” Jenas added. “They need more security in the wider areas, something a little bit stronger and on the front foot to cause problems. At the minute they don’t have that in those areas and that is where I’d start.” Source: spurs-web
