"If it’s for £10 million"-Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho tipped to complete striker signing

Former Premier League midfielder Michael Brown urges Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho to sign Bournemouth star Callum Wilson. But he says Spurs should guarantee the striker game time next season. The 28-year-old is expected to leave the Cherries after their relegation to the Championship was confirmed last week. He will likely be available for under £20m. Reports have suggested a cut-price deal of just £10m could be agreed with Bournemouth. Brown says Tottenham could sign Wilson this summer, providing they can offer him game time alongside first-choice striker Harry Kane. He told Football Insider: “If it’s for £10 million there will be a queue of people who will want to buy him. It all comes down to whether they need a second striker. "If a striker is going to Spurs they need to ask if they are a wide forward because Harry Kane plays the number nine role. If you see someone who can play out wide in a three or they can play two up top because Callum Wilson will want to play, I can’t imagine him going to sit on the bench.” Wilson scored eight goals and chipped in with one assist in the Premier League as Bournemouth were relegated to the Championship.
