“I’d drop him to the reserves”- Some Newcastle fans are not impressed with the player’s performance against Aston Villa

Numerous Newcastle fans are less than impressed with Joelinton’s performance against Aston Villa on Monday calling it “dire” and “ineffective”. The 23-year-old forward who moved to Newcastle this summer for the club-record £40 million, has been criticized due to his lack of sharpness upfront far outweighed the brief glimpses of skill he demonstrated in Birmingham, where they lost 2-0 to Aston Villa. Along with his three wayward efforts on goal, Joelinton completed 11 of his 15 passes, two of which were key balls, along with completing two dribbles just before being substituted. Newcastle fans later took to Twitter to show their reactions on the Brazilian’s display:

If Steve Bruce wasn't so grateful to be offered the NUFC job, there is no way he would agree to that Joelinton transfer. Bruce would have ate him for breakfast when he was playing.
