Ian Wright has rated Takehiro Tomiyasu's debut for Arsenal as he helped his new side to keep a clean sheet and beat Norwich City.
Former Gunners man was impressed by the Japanese defender's display and said while on punditry duty for Match of the Day:
"I thought he [Tomiyasu] had a fantastic debut."
Boss Mikel Arteta was also happy with Tomiyasu's performance.
"[It was] really positive. Just the first impression when you met him, it was just joy and happiness and good energy," he said after the match.
"The moment he steps on the pitch he was really focused, determined, he understands the role really good. He was cramping."
"Obviously he only trained a day and a half with us, he had to travel, and emotionally it was his first game and we had to take him off."
