"I Want To Crown Liverpool Champions”: Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish is a realist

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish claims there is only one logical conclusion for the Premier League as he wants to hand the title to current leaders Liverpool. On May 1, at a Shareholders meeting, clubs discussed possible ways to resume the season. According to an official statement, the League and clubs will only return to training and playing with Government guidance, under expert advice and after consultation with players and managers. “I want to crown Liverpool champions and give every other club a fair crack at the best league position they can achieve,” said Parish. Liverpool are currently 25 points clear and they are set to win Premier League title first time in 30 years. “I certainly don’t want to have difficult conversations about curtailing, voiding and points per game,” said Parish. “The ramifications of each are complex and could involve legal challenges that run on for months, if not years.” Source: liverpooloffside
