"I think": Everton man says he's very 'surprised' by Frank Lampard's tactics
Anthony Gordon has admitted that he has been ‘surprised’ by Frank Lampard’s tactics.
The 21-year-old claimed that Lampard is 'very good tactically' which left the Everton youngster literally 'impressed'.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, the Toffees' winger expressed how he feels about the boss and and shared an insight on him during training sessions.
“He has surprised me how much he knows tactically,” said Gordon.
“Like really impressive.“A lot of the foreign managers are renowned for being very good tactically, but he really surprised me and I think he is right up there.“I think in the games this season, even the ones that we have lost, I think he has put us in positions to win us the game. We as players have come up short.”
