"I have respect for the player, but not the man": Lazio chief slams David Silva for choosing Real Sociedad

Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has slammed David Silva, insisting he has no respect to the former Manchester City man for joining Real Sociedad instead of his side. Silva was set to leave the Citizens this summer after a ten-year spell with the club. While there have been a number of offers, Lazio were leading the race for the 34-year-old. However, Real Sociedad have confirmed Silva joined the Spanish club on Monday night, which lead Lazio chief get furious. And Tare shared his criticism on their club official website over the City player, saying: "I learn about David Silva's transfer to Real Sociedad. I have great respect for the player, but not for the man."
