Former Manchester City winger Trevor Sinclair has shared his concerns regarding Sergio Aguero's future at the club amid the latest transfer talks.
The reports claim the newly-appointed PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino wants the Argentina international at the French club for the January transfer window. Meanwhile, Aguero has not signed a new contract with the Citizens yet, while the current one expires in the summer.
And speaking about the 32-year-old's future at Etihad amid the potential transfer to Paris, Sinclair told
talkSPORT Breakfast:
“I am worried, and there’s a few reasons why I am. One is that he’s hardly featured [this season] and I think Manchester City fans will expect that going forward.
“He’s not getting any younger and if I’m being honest his best football is probably behind him, but he’s a Manchester City legend.
“He’s got the best goalscoring record, he’s got the most goals, and I think it’s concerning about the reports PSG are interested in him.
“The Argentinian link with Pochettino; that’s a concern. And it just seems like Man City are not coming clean in the media with where they’re at with those negotiations. Are they even negotiating a contract with Aguero?”
