"I am 100% sure": Fabrizio Romano makes a definitive claim about Harry Kane and Tottenham

Fabrizio Romano has made a definitive claim about Harry Kane's future at Tottenham Hotspur. Speaking on the Que Golazo Podcast, the journalist was discussing the upcoming transfer window. Kane’s future was a hot topic after reports at the weekend claimed he wants to leave Spurs but Romano says that Kane may not get his move due to the big clubs in Europe suffering from the financial impact of the pandemic. “All top clubs who could be interested in Harry Kane are in a difficult situation right now to pay £150m or this sort of fee for Kane,” Romano said. “It’s really, really complicated and it’s a different transfer market, so I don’t see an easy situation for top clubs interested in Harry Kane. We have to mention Manchester City appreciating the player for sure, but remember what Pep said a week ago. They cannot pay enormous fees for top players. “When you mention the fee, you also have to mention the condition of the agent, the big salary of the player and his long contract, so it won’t be absolutely easy to do this negotiation in the summer. I am curious to see how it develops. Harry has always been respectful. I know he has this desire to play in the Champions League, but for sure if he’s staying at Tottenham he will be staying at Tottenham he will stay at Tottenham and fight for Tottenham, so I am 100% sure that they won’t have an internal war between Kane and Tottenham, they will decide together." Daniel Levy won’t accept a cut-price fee, and there isn’t much liquidity in the transfer market at the moment, so it’s hard to see how any team will find the money to sign him.
