Hull KR boss opens up on future of loanee Harvey Livett

Hull KR head coach Tony Smith thinks Harvey Livett will return to Warrington Wolves when his loan spell ends. The 23-year-old enjoyed a brief stint with Rovers the previous year before rejoining the club for the 2020 season. Livett is out of contract at the end of the season but Warrington have the option of a one-year extension. And Smith hopes he returns to Warrington a better player than when he arrived. Speaking to Hull Live the Australian said: “It was just a one-year deal with Warrington having the intention of taking him back next year after some decent development hopefully. That’s all we know of at this stage. Harvey has fitted in well and is doing a good job for us. We’re happy to have him and happy for him to develop here and return to Warrington. "I can’t predict what they’re going to do but I imagine it was always their intention to extend his contract. I like working with him. He’s a good fella and has got some talent. It’s been a pleasure having him here.” Source- HullLive
