Aston Villa are likely to appoint a new manager in order to avoid the Premier League relegation zone.
The club is sitting on the 19th place of the league table with 25 points. Hence Villa are considering to replace their current manager Dean Smith with John Terry amid the ongoing relegation battle.
According to
Football Insider, Smith's position is becoming weaker, following the team's 4 - 0 defeat to Leicester City at King Power Stadium. The club boss could be sacked at the weekend should they lose to Chelsea on Saturday's Premier League clash.
Discussions have been taken that Terry would be appointed as the new club manager.
