Southampton are set to lose several players this summer if they don’t extend their contracts as Ryan Bertrand, Sam McQueen and Harry Lewis will all become free agents in June as per
Transfermarkt.com.
Bertrand has been a Southampton player since 2015. His current contract with the Saints will expire in the summer of 2021. During this season, the left-back has made 26 appearances in which he has provided one assist.
McQueen's current contract with the Saints also expires at the end of this season. The 26-year-old joined Middlesbrough on loan in 2018, however, having suffered a serious knee injury, he has been out of action for over two years.
Lewis joined Southampton's academy from Shrewsbury Town in 2015. During the 2017/18 season, the 23-year-old signed for Dundee United on loan. His contract is also set to expire in June.
Southampton also have two players currently playing for them, who joined them on loan - Theo Walcott from Everton and Takumi Minamino from Liverpool.
