The Premier League fixtures for the 2020/2021 season were released today. Manchester United will begin the new season on September 19 with a home game against Crystal Palace. The Red Devils were supposed to play an away game against Burnley for the opener, however, the game has been postponed due to United’s involvement in the latter stages of the Europa League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are hoping to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, but United appear unwilling to meet Dortmund's asking price for the player. United were also interested in Aston Villa's Jack Grealish but none of this deals have happened as of yet.
So, ahead of the season opener,
Daily Star has looked into how the Red Devils starting line-up could look like without Sancho and Grealish.
According to the report, David De Grea will take his usual spot in the net with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Brandon Williams forming the defence.
Fred, Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes will form the midfield, while Mason Greenwood, Martial and Marcus Rashford will lead the attack.
