How did Alisson save Jorginho’s penalty? 

  Jorginho missed his first penalty for Chelsea since he joined the Blues in 2018.  The Italian national team midfielder is one of the best penalty takers in Europe. Like Bruno Fernandes, Sergio Ramos and Robert Lewandowski, Jorginho’s advantage against the goalkeeper is the pause before the shot.  The 28-year-old uses the pause to make the goalkeeper choose a direction. During that second, Jorginho sees the movement of his opponent and shoots the opposite direction.  What if the goalkeeper doesn’t move? Either Jorginho or Bruno Fernandes prefer to add some power and shoot higher, so that the goalkeeper wouldn’t have chances to save.  How did Alisson save the penalty?  The Brazilian had two choices, either move or don’t move.
