Villa celebrated a 1-0 victory as Ollie Watkins scored in the 2nd minute. Emiliano Martinez, who joined Villa from Arsenal, kept a clean sheet against his former side. Currently, Martinez has kept 11 clean sheets and is second, behind Ederson, who has kept 13 clean sheets. As an English club, Villa has 12 English players, however, not every one of them are named in the starting XI.
