Houssem Aouar has urged Arsenal fans to stop spamming his friend on Instagram with messages about a possible move to the Gunners this summer.
Arsenal have reportedly reignited their interest in signing the Lyon midfielder this summer after failing to complete a deal last year.
Lyon have lowered their valuation of Aouar to just £25m, while the midfielder is said to be more open to a possible move to the Gunners this summer.
And Arsenal fan are sure that
the player's agent was in London after one of his closest friends posted a series of stories on Instagram of his visit to England’s capital.
Aouar’s friend was then inundated with messages from Arsenal fans who were keen to know the latest on the potential deal.
However, the Lyon midfielder has now cleared up the misunderstanding, stressing that his friend is not his real brother or his representative.
Aouar is now in the pre-season training with Lyon and earlier this week he was forced to deny claims that he was trying to force through a move away from the French club.
