Houssem Aouar makes transfer decision amid Arsenal interest

Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar has told his teammates that he will stay at the club amid Arsenal transfer links, according to reports. The midfielder was the subject of a rejected bid from the Gunners and the expectation was that Mikel Arteta's side will make another bid before the transfer window shuts down on October 5. However, RMC Sport claimed that Aouar had a meeting with the Lyon hierarchy on Saturday, after which he told his teammates of his intention to stay at the club.
