Hoffenheim newcomer Sargis Adamyan reveals Henrikh Mkhtiaryan’s role in his career
Armenia national team forward Sargis Adamyan has officially completed a move to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim from second Bundesliga team Jahn Regensburg.
Speaking to official website of Football Federation of Armenia, Adamyan said: “Hoffenheim representatives have been watching me for a long time and contacted with me two months ago. We had some time before the season would’ve ended. So we waited until now to make the move happen”
“I feel proud, especially, when I think on the my journey to this point. 2 years ago I was playing in 4th Bundesliga, and had two amazing seasons with Jahn Regensburg and now I am here. I will do everything to succeed in my new club. I want to make Armenian fans happy.
“Henrikh (Mkhitaryan) was one of the firsts to congratulate me. He told me how important was my step and I have already reached to an amazing level in my career. But he also gave me an advice not to stop and keep on working hard. Henrikh was the player, that always supported me and I could always rely on his advice. He knows how to succeed” Adamyan added.
