Higuain could return to Juventus as Chelsea consider cutting loan short

Gonzalo Higuain could return to Juventus at the end of the season as has so far manager to score just three goals at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea have the option to extend Higuain's loan by another 12 months or complete a permanent deal in the summer for around £33m. But the Argentine could be set for a return to Juventus at the end of the season should Chelsea decide to end his spell at Stamford Bridge in the summer. Speaking after his side's 2-0 defeat to Everton on Sunday, Sarri admitted Higuain was struggling and could do more. "He was improving, but then he had some problems at the beginning of the week," he added. "He had a strong stomach fever so today it was normal that he could only play for 60 or 65 minutes." Chelsea, who have dropped to sixth in the table, return to action after the international break against Cardiff.
